2026 Tribune Fall Field Day

The 2026 Tribune Fall Field Day will include both dryland and irrigated topics.

Tribune Irrigation Field and Dryland Annex

From Tribune: 4 miles east on K-96 to Whitelaw, 4¾ miles north to Road M, then ½ mile east.

8:15 a.m. MT — Registration

8:30 a.m. MT — Welcome and introductions

8:45 a.m. MT — Field tours begin

Topics include:

  • 2026 weather summary

  • Limited irrigation of summer forages

  • Managing iron chlorosis in sorghum

  • Nitrogen management for dryland sorghum

  • Limited irrigation corn management

  • Corn disease update

The program will then move to the Greeley County 4-H Building at the fairgrounds in Tribune for:

  • Starting your 2027 wheat crop off right

  • Wheat virus management update

  • Wheat variety selection for 2027

  • Latest results from dryland rotation and tillage studies
